Eva wins our Jack Petchey Award!

4 July, 2021

Bounce is delighted to celebrate another Jack Petchey winner this month. Eva has been nominated by staff for the positive difference she has made to her group.

Eva participated in a podcast project for World Book Day. She decided to tell her own story rather than other people’s. She spoke about living with dyslexia and the impact it has had on her life. In doing so, she created a space for all the other young people to talk about their own battles. The long term legacy of this is that we are still podcasting about mental health, six months on.

Along with this, Eva regularly participates in the Grace Dear Youth Theatre. She creates theatre and shares ways to make line-learning an easier process.

All in all, we think she is inspiring and very worthy of celebrating.

The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up by Sir Jack Petchey to inspire and motivate young people across London and Essex to do their best and reach their full potential.
