Fried Chicken was a production project co-created with 24 young people at Anstee Bridge over a one year period.
Four characters are trapped in a chicken shop. As a fight kicks off outside fears inside rise and tensions bubble to the surface.
The play explores gang violence, male identity and social media warfare. Written by Bounce, with the young people acting as dramaturgs it was professionally performed in 2017. The young people involved all undertook production roles from casting through to front of house in order to build confidence & provide valuable evidence of work experience.
